Oswald's Addresses - In august of 52 Marguerite and Lee move in with John Pic in New York. After about a Month they move to the Bronx. Although, John Pic and Robert Oswald testified that he went to school at PS 44 in Manhattan not PS44 in the Bronx. This may be when Harvey Oswald went to Trinity while living at 1455 Sheridan, while lee was with his brother in Manhattan. Harvey is kicked out of Trinity Lutheran for not attending, switching to ps 117, which he is also absent from. This leads to his arrest for truancy.
School Records - According to Frank Kudley, the assistant principle of Stripling, Oswald had only attended for six weeks at the beginning of the school year. At Beauregard, however, he was present throughout the entire year. Oswald's presence at Stripling was also confirmed by fellow student Francetta Schubert. Oswald's presence at Beauregard was confirmed by teacher Myra DaRouse, who claimed that Oswald preferred to go by "Harvey".
Oswald's Arrest - Oswald was allegedly arrested on April 16th by Police woman Felicia Shfitzter for truancy, however Oswald's arrest card shows that he was arrested at his home by a patrolman Hennig. What's more, Oswald was convicted on April 15th, a day before his arrest and Irving Sokolow's interview with Oswald indicated that he had been admitted on the 10th. Oswald's arrest records indicate that he had been living in the Bronx, and that he had been sent to youth house on 12 street in Manhattan, although a document indicates that he was sent to PS611.
Evidence of two arrests may come from there being two Oswald's in the school system.
IQ test - Irving Sokolow subjected Oswald to an IQ test, which he scored at 118, while Oswald's records from Fort Worth scored him at 103.
Leaving New York - Marguerite hired a lawyer, who advised her and her son leave New York, to avoid Harvey being institutionalized. They most likely moved to North Dakota, as this is where Oswald told reporter Aline Mosby he lived when became interested in communism. in a news article Marguerite said they had moved to north Dakota. The FBI acknowledged this interview which was published nation wide, however the notes given by Mosby to the FBI, North Dakota was replaced with New Orleans; there are accounts by witnesses of Oswald's time in North Dakota. However, Julian and myrtle evens stated that Lee and his mother lived in New Orleans from may of 54 to may of 55. There are records of him going to school in New Orleans within this time frame. Despite this, there is a letter to John Pic dated October of 54 with a return address of 126 exchange place in Texas. Myrtle would recall Oswald having an attitude problem, but neighbor Mildred Sawyer at exchange place recalled that he was the most polite little boy ever knew.
Oswald's medical records - Lee had a mastoidectomy in 1946 which left him deaf in his left ear. Due to this there are records that Lee was transferred to PS 46, which was a school for the deaf. He also had scar on his left ear from the operation, which was absent from Harvey Oswald's autopsy.
Lee Oswald had his tonsils out at the age of 5, however while in the Marines, Harvey Oswald was sick with with his tonsils.
Lee Oswald had his front teeth knocked out in a fight at Beauregard, which were replaced in the marines however Harvey Oswald was exhumed with natural teeth.
Oswald in the Marines - There are two different enlistment records for Lee Harvey Oswald, with two different signatures. There are records that Oswald reported at El Toro for the overseas draft on July 9th, however his pay roll records state that he arrived on the 17th.
While Oswald was in the brig for getting into a fight with an officer from June 27th 1958, however he was somehow managed to sign and date his life insurance paperwork on June 30th, which was also witnessed by Peter J. Casisi, who was sent to the brig at this time as well.
The warren commission concluded that Oswald was in Taiwan from September 14 to October 6 of 1958. The HSCA however concluded that based on DoD statements, Oswald did not go to Taiwan, as he remained at Atsugi as part of a rear echelon unit. Oswald is documented to have sailed on the US Sagit to Taiwan. Oswald however was added to the sick list on September 15 1958 at Atsugi. medical records show that he was in Atsugi (number lab 3835) for Gonorrhea and anal bleeding.
On October. 27, while in Atsugi, Lee shot himself in the arm. He was hospitalized at the Ukasuka naval hospital #3923, 40 miles from Atsugi, from the 27th of Oct. to the 16th of Nov. 4 days later after his leave from the hospital he will get on a boat and sail for the philopenas, arriving on Nov. 30th Sydney Robinson, who was in the marines with Oswald, claimed he was told that Oswald was shot in the wrist, having also seen him with a bandaged wrist. Another marine refuted this, having witnessed the ordeal, he could refute that Oswald was shot in the elbow. As per the official story, Oswald didn't go to Corregidor in the Philippines until January of 1958, however a photograph taken in 1957 is labeled Corregidor. According to corporal of the guard, Sidney Robinson, Oswald was still in Atsugi in February of 58, however there are multiple testimonies that he was in Corregidor till march 18th. What might have happened is that, Lee Oswald was bound for the Philippines, so to avoid being in the same place, Harvey Oswald shot himself to postpone his voyage.
Death of Martin Shrand - Shortly after these events, in January, Fellow Marine, Martin Shrand would be shot dead. His death was ruled a suicide, however there is a statement from a witness who saw a sentry run into his barracks shouting "one of the sentries shot somebody" The autopsy report includes the term missile, to refer to the bullet, which isn't usually used to refer to shotgun pellets. According to the statements of others on guard duty, the sentries were issued a 45 in addition to a shotgun, which isn't mentioned in the investigative report. Marine's on guard duty were issued 4 shotgun shells. Shrand's shotgun had one live shell in it, with the other three in his pocket. according to witnesses, the shotgun itself was positioned under his legs when they found him, although the photo's of his body show the shotgun aside him. This testimony was also absent from the official investigation. Donald Camarada stated that he had heard rumors that Oswald was somehow responsible for the death of martin Shrand Researcher, John Armstrong discovered that Martin's brother Raymond was at Subic Bay was with him in the weeks leading up to his death. Raymond Schrand would die falling off of a Navy transport ship 4 months after his brothers death.
Death of Daniel Powers - Similarly, Daniel Powers, who knew Oswald since Jacksonville fl., was found shot to death in his right temple, with a gun in his right hand. His death was deemed a suicide
While Harvey Oswald was meant to be in Japan in 1958, he was working at Pfisterer Dental Lab in New Orleans with palmer McBride, who refused to identify photos of Oswald and marguerite at the people he knew.
J edger acknowledged a second Oswald - In June 3rd memo from 1960 to the OoS, J. Edger Hoover stated that "there is a possibility that an imposter is using Oswald's birth certificate, any current informatino the Department of State may have concerning subject will be appreciated."
Spooks in Oswald's family
Maralyn Murret - Maralyn Murret, Oswald's cousins, was outed to reporter Paul Scott, who wrote an article in which he named her in a long list of people alleged to be soviet spies. The BFI pulled Marylin's passport, finding she made many unusual trips around the world, first claiming to be a reservation for a travel company, later claiming to be a teacher. Maralyn travelled to including England, France, Germany holland and China and various Eastern block countries.
Lilian Murret - Oswald's aunt, Lilian Murret flew to an air force base in Bermuda in 1954, which is sandwiched between the issuance of Marilyn's passport and the travels that the FBI was following her on. The yearbook information on Marylin Murret depicts this woman. But the picture of her at Louisiana stat university in 1948 looks more like Marina Oswald's friend, Ruth Paine. (58:20)
Margaret Keating - There are records of a Margret Keating, who married Robert Oswald, and was step mother to Lee Harvey Oswald. Despite having divorced Robert Oswald in 1933, Margaret Keating appears in a 1955-56 phonebook as Margaret Oswald. (1:08:00) According to Margaret Keating's registration forms, over a period of about 20 years, she repeatedly changed her birthday to make herself 18 years younger.
Marguerite Oswald - There is evidence of two Marguerites, one for Lee and one for Harvey. Later picture of Marguerite Oswald show a woman who is shorter and looks different. She might be Pearl Claverie Whitaker, Marguerite's sister who went insane in the 30s, and died at the east Louisiana state hospital.
In her warren commission testimony Marguerite's sister, Lilian Claverie Murret, is asked by a lawyer about contacting her sister. In response, she talks about contacting her brother. If they were related, he would also be her brother, so why the wording.
When the warren commission pulled Marguerite's credit reports, they couldn't verify many of the addresses. Her credit report had two made up addresses, one which she never lived at and the address of the women we know as Margaret Keating.
As far back as 1938, Marguerite was the landlord of three different houses, however there are no records of any tenants to these houses except for Dr Mancuzo, who rented 2109 alvar in New Orleans from her. This may be evidence of a network of safe houses owned by intelligence put under the name Marguerite Oswald. Records show that Marguerite moved into 2109 Alvars St. in New Orleans in 1938, Moving out in 1940, although the house wasn't sold until 45. Marguerite also lived at 220 Thomas place in Fort Worth Texas, three different times over a 10 year period with two different landlords. Marguerite lived at 1222 congress St. in new Orleans from 1940 to 1941, then moving to 1010 Bartholomew, St. in New Orleans. Marguerite and Lee Allegedly moved into 831 Pauline Street in 1942, although an older couple called the Roaches are alleged to have lived there with some saying that Marguerite was allowed to move in by the Roaches, and others saying she left and then the Roaches moved in. Either way, in January of 42 Marguerite and Lee would only be their for three weeks before Marguerite allegedly left Lee with her sister Lillian, who gave hi up to an orphanage. After this she disappears from the records, as the FBI tried to verify her residential and work history from 42 and 44 without success, as many of the records had been allegedly destroyed. Marguerite claimed to the warren commission that during this time, she was working as a phone operator for the Pittsburg glass company. However there are records which contradict this statement, pointing towards the reality that she was in New York working for Naval Intelligence. The timing of when Marguerite Oswald left Lee with Lillian coincides with the time she met and marries Edwin Ekdahl. Edwin Ekhdal was in New York City at the time working for Ebasco. (One of Ebasco's projects was the design of a large electrical generation station in the Soviet Union, suggesting an intelligence affiliation. When Ebasco was questioned to provide information about Ekdahl, they told the FBI they were unable to provide such information. This should demonstrate how high up in intelligence they were.) The addresses linked to Marguerite at this time are also addresses in New York: 227 Atlantic av is in Staten Island; before that she was at 2136 Broadway, which in NY is the location of the beacon hotel. At the time Edwin Ekhdal lived at 210 north broad way, which is 20 minutes north of the Hotel Beacon. What was Marguerite doing in NY at this time? Well, in 1953 the house on Un-American Activities in New York had a 960 page file concerning Marguerite Oswald, Nazis and New Jersey. The assassination records review board were denied access to this document. Marguerite stated to the warren commission that she was a phone operator in for the Navy in Algiers Louisiana in 1942. The WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) program was a civilian program was a civilian program which got women into the Navy to do things like operating the phones. The training program for WAVES was in the Bronx. The FBI spoke to Robert Oswald's Sr.'s ex wife, Hazel, who told them that after Robert died, (in 1939) the family moved to New York.
Marguerite Oswald indicated that in the October of 1945, her new address was Granbury road Benbrook Texas, in the ghetto near a rail road. Marguerite Oswald and her three sons moved to 101 Sansaba in Texas in 1948, despite the fact that Marguerite owned it since 1947. They only lived there for two months. Between summer of 48 and 52, marguerite Oswald will purchase two additional properties at 7408 Ewing and 4833 Birchman in Ft Wirth. The Birchman address is not on the list of addresses acknowledged by the warren commission or HSCA. No Oswald ever lived at the Ewing address. The Ewing address was sold in late 52 when marguerite Oswald was in New York.
No one at either address knew marguerite Oswald, either in Broadway or Algiers in Atlantic av. At the time that marguerite is alleged to have lived at Atlantic av, there was someone called Bob Oswald living there. Bob Oswald worked at a ship building company that subcontracted to the Navy.
Robert Oswald Jr. and his step brother John Pic were put into numerous orphanages by Marguerite. In 1947 she attempted to put all three of her children into an orphanage permanently, which was rejected. From then on the orphanage wouldn't accept them on a temporary basis. 1:24:00 1:34:20
In 1945 Marguerite and Ekdahl Oswald will drive John Pic and Robert Oswald to the Chamberlin Hunt Academy on the way to Boston. In the warren commission John Hart Ely pointed out that according to Robert Oswald, Lee and his mother pent six months in Boston in the fall of 45. This is contradicted by records that Oswald attended the Benbrook common school by October of the same year.
When Oswald was arrested for truancy, Marguerite Oswald gave false information to probation Officer, John Carro and the School Board, stating that her husband was "Robert Lee Harvey," that they were married on July 19th 1929 and that they had three children together
Marguerite Oswald used a Collingwood address on a change of address form for Lee Oswald in 1945, even though there are also records that she didn't live at that address until 1955
Fred Korth - Fred Korth was secretary of the Navy and and assistant secretary to the Army. He was also Edwin Ekdahl's lawyer.
According to a memo, Marguerite Oswald revealed that Lee's discharge from the marines was handled by Fred Korth
and that the house which Marguerite had been living at during the assassination (222 Thomas place) belonged to Mary McArthee, a close friend of Fred Korth. She also noted that Fred Korth played a part in Lee's life, but didn't explain any further.
Trully was the boss of the book depository. Oswald allegedly didn’t know anybody at the book depository. Mr. Tully was married to a woman who's cousin was Fred Korth, working with john pick.
Floy Oswald - Oswald had a first cousin named Floy Oswald. It appears J edger hoover had a personal file on Floy Oswald. Floy Oswald was murdered in her house by a caretaker and two friends who attempted to make her sign over property rights. (50:00)
Paul August "Polo" Voitier Jr. - Marguerite Oswald's uncle was Paul August Voitier Jr., who was a body guard of Louisiana Senator Hughey long, who was assassinated by his own bodyguards. 59:30
